BoomBox,
Conspirator,
Cinnamon Chasers and
Abakus are teaming up to tear it down. The four acts head out on the road for a 19-show tour of the northern United States, kicking off in Detroit on October 13th. With influences ranging from down-tempo to disco, deep house to straight up rock and roll, dubstep, and drum & bass, this tour has two of the top live electronic acts in the nation pairing up with two of the fastest rising Producer/DJ acts from the UK.
Conspirator are coming off one of the biggest summers of their short career, playing regularly in front of 10-15k fans at festivals across the nation. Early this summer it became clear that all of the hard work was beginning to pay off.
BoomBox have been steadily building an army of fans nationwide, crisscrossing the country with relentless ambition. Having grown into one of the biggest live-electronic acts in a scene that is teaming with talent, BoomBox remains poised to sit at the top of the pot with the cream of the crop, making this a natural pairing on a tour that all parties are equally excited for.
Add into the mix Russ Davies, the UK producer responsible for the exploding nu-disco outfit Cinnamon Chasers, whose hit tune and video “luv Deluxe” went viral to the tune of 7 million views as well as won “best music video” at SXSW in 2010. Davies also brings to the table his artist project, Abakus, a mix of breaks, dub, techno, trance, and electro, which has enjoyed enormous success since launching in 2004.
Put it all together and you have a massive fall tour with major stops in Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, Burlington, New Haven, Northampton, Buffalo and more.
